The small Macedonian city of Gevgelija, located southeast of the country in the bordering region with Greece, is becoming a gambling paradise due to the construction of many large scale casinos on its territory.
Gevgelija has a strategic location in the region, bringing together the center and the south of Europe through a motorway which connects the city of Skopje and other 3 former Yugoslavian capitals (Belgrade, Zagreb and Ljubljana) with Thessaloniki (the second largest Greek city).
The Chilean city of Los Angeles, capital city of the Biobío province in Chile, has opened its first Casino this week, which will be named “Gran Casino Los Angeles”. It will have an international category and is integrated into a great project which includes also a hotel with gymnasium, conference center and spa, with a total investment of 20 million dollars.
The city, which currently has a population of 166,556 people, expects an avalanche of visitors after the opening of the casino.
A casino, located in Cannes, France, has opened an outdoor game room. This is the first type of casino that has been registered in all Europe. The director of the Palm Beach casino, Richard Frischer, said: “We took advantage of a law from 2007 that authorizes gambling games to be exposed as visible activities.
